MP urges Governor Peter Munya to quit referendum push

Imenti, Kenya: Imenti South MP Kathuri Murungi has said all Jubilee-allied governors should respect the coalition’s position on both the Pesa Mashinani and Okoa Kenya referendums.

Speaking to The Standard, Mr Murungi asked Meru Governor Peter Munya and MPs from Meru to support the Government’s position that Kenya does not need a referendum at this point in time.
