The big match of the weekend was arguably between top Kenyan Premier League title contenders Gor Mahia and Chemelil Sugar at City stadium.

Playing under the hot sun with their 12th player present like always, Gor Mahia started the match on high note, making their first attempt just 33 seconds into play when Dan Sserunkuma lobbed a cheeky ball to George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo who arrowed it across Chemelil’s goalkeeper, but there was no one to tap it in.
