ATHLETICS: Maiyoro hospitalised, needs help

Kenya's pioneer Olympian Nyantika Maiyoro is hospitalised and needs urgent special medication. His son, pastor Ken Nyantika told Feverpitch his father who is hospitalised at Tenwek Mission Hospital in Bomet County is suffering from severe blood deficiency and diarrhoea. The family is appealing for well-wishers to help them financially and materially. They need almost Sh500, 000 to cover medical costs incurred so far. Maiyoro was among the first Kenyans in the Olympic Games of Melbourne, Australia in 1956 where the East African nation made its debut.
