NAIROBI: A team has been appointed to investigate how and why the Garissa University College massacre happened even after security officials there had been alerted.
The team headed by Western Regional Co-ordinator James ole Serian is supposed give its findings and recommendations to Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery in two weeks. Sources said the minister intends to suspend, interdict or even force arraignment of some of the security managers in Garissa County over the April 2 incident.
