Fidel Odinga's burial set for Saturday

Nairobi, Kenya: Raila Odinga's family has set Saturday January 10 as the burial date for their son Fidel, who died on Sunday.

He will be buried in Bondo at his parent’s rural home.

Fidel’s body will be removed for a requiem mass at Coptic Church in Nairobi on Thursday afternoon.

The body will then be returned to Lee funeral home for an overnight stay before being flown to Kisumu and  Bondo for another stay. Final funeral rights will be at his father’s Opoda farm.

Funeral committee is meeting at the Karen home of the Cord leader.
