KINDNESS: Government rescues Amputee team

The Government has come to the rescue of the Kenyan amputee team which leaves for Mexico today to take part in the Amputee World Cup which kicks off tomorrow in Mexico. Sports Commissioner Gordon Oluoch confirmed that the government has released money to facilitate the team ahead of the tournament. “We have approved the budget for them to take part in the event and remain confident they will do well and bring glory to the country,” said Oluoch. According to Steven Muli, who chairs the Kenya Amputee Football Federation, they are grateful that the government has come out to assist them.
