Bride left inconsolable after finding out newlywed hubby was gay

Dublin, Ireland: A devastated bride who discovered her husband was cheating on her with a man just six months after they tied the knot has put her wedding dress and rings up for sale to pay for an annulment.

The heartbroken Cork woman - who is remaining anonymous - is flogging her engagement and wedding bands, wedding dress, tiara and bridesmaids’ dresses for the bargain price of just Sh210,000.

She was left inconsolable just six months after she said ‘I do’ when she found put her husband was seeing a man and had been for years.

And now she’s selling off her half of the wedding to pay for an annulment so she can finally move on and put her heartache behind her.

The lot, which is up for sale on the DoneDeal website, includes her ivory size 8-10 wedding dress, priced at Sh8000 and her matching ivory cathedral-length lace-trimmed veil at Sh14,000.

Her three purple bridesmaids dresses are also under the hammer for just Sh22,600 all in, while she has also put her 18ct white gold engagement and wedding rings up for sale for just Sh81,900.

Wedding bargain hunters can also get their hands on the heartbroken woman’s ivory lace umbrella and diamante tiara for just Sh1,700 each.

The heartbroken woman’s mum contacted Cork’s 96FM radio station today to ask for help in selling off her daughter’s precious wedding items.

And it’s understood the bargain-price package has already attracted plenty of attention.

A source revealed: “This is very distressing for the girl and her family so they just want to remain anonymous but attract attention to the items so they can get them sold and put this nightmare behind them.

“They are not sure what an annulment would cost, if anything, or how much the legal fees will be but they have contacted a solicitor and the wheels are in motion.”

There was an outpouring of sympathy from Facebook users who read about the heartbroken bride’s plight.

One wrote: “Oh my god the poor girl having to go through that.. What a b**tard for making her get married and not tell her the truth.

“Hope someone buys them and she can move on and find happiness.”

Another fumed: “There was no excuse for what he did. He lied to her and made her go through all the preparations for the wedding and go through the wedding itself.

“He should’ve come clean before the wedding and it would’ve saved her all the trouble.

“I would not feel sorry for him, not because he had to hide, but because he lied to her.”

One sympathetic Facebooker added: “Beautiful stuff she has and I bet she looked stunning, the poor girl.

“Good luck finding Mr right.”
