EVE BRIDAL: How did you meet Peter?
Wambui: We met at my birthday party three years ago. At the end of the party we exchanged contacts and that’s where it all began.
EB: How did he propose?
Wambui: He took me on a surprise game-drive at the Nairobi National Park. The plan nearly flopped after we were involved in a minor car accident that morning. He tried several times to get my attention during the game drive, but I was ‘uncooperative’. After like five hours of trying, he finally got me, went down on his one knee and posed the question.
EB: What was it about her that made you want to make her your wife?
Mwaura: I met Elizabeth when I was searching for a real woman who would love me and be my partner for life. Coming from a botched relationship, I knew exactly what I needed in a woman. She needed to be down-to-earth, hardworking, humble and a loving person. Elizabeth is all the above.
