Two die as earthquakes hit Malawi, Tanzania

A four-year-old boy and his grandmother were killed on Sunday and up to 200 people were injured when a 6.0 magnitude earthquake destroyed buildings in Malawi's northern Karonga district.

Another quake struck the southwestern region in neighbouring Tanzania, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said, but initial reports indicated no serious damage or injuries.
