CJ: Defilement cases on the rise

Vihiga,Kenya:  Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has decried the high number of defilement cases in Western region.

He said that a task force will be set so as to investigate the cases and come up with a report that will be used to tackle the menace.

During his tour of the area, Dr Mutunga said that the issue was raised in his meetings in all the four counties of Western region.

“The defilement cases in Western region are a crisis that needs to be dealt with and residents should help in this matter,” the CJ said.
