Toxic waste shipped out for destruction

Kenya has started shipping its toxic waste abroad for destruction. On Friday thirty metric tonnes of obsolete pesticides were transported to Mombasa port, from where they will be shipped to the United Kingdom for destruction. The disposal of these dangerous chemicals is set to curb risks posed to the environment and human beings.
