Pump prices go up

Petrol station attendants across the country are changing the prices displayed to motorists as we speak: the energy regulatory commission has announced yet another hike in fuel prices. The new rates, derived through a formula set to protect consumers from exploitation, take effect from tomorrow. Super petrol goes up to about 115 shillings in Nairobi. Users of kerosene will also bear the brunt as they will pay three shillings ninety cents more, while diesel goes up two shillings sixty cents.
