Habida opens up abpout her campus life, relationships and ambitions

Habida Maloney is an award winning Kenyan actress and artiste who also dabbles in different business ventures.

Growing up you wanted to be a...Political scientist.

If your parents could have their way you would have been a...Lawyer. They say I know how to argue my case.

Which college/university did you attend? Kennesaw State University, a public, coeducational, research university with a main campus located in Kennesaw, Georgia, United States, approximately 20 miles northwest of Atlanta.

What did you major in? Performing arts and musical theatre.

Did you skip classes? No.

The worst lecturer was...My 6am Math lecturer, but my disdain may have been because it was 6am.

Toughest unit... The political science class. It was tough for me because I was learning about American politics which I was not familiar with compared to most American classmates.

Passing exams meant... I sat and studied every moment I had. I had a desk and I would sit at it and read and do as many practice tests as I could.

Your best campus experience was? I didn’t really spend a lot of time on campus as I had to work three jobs to make ends meet. So I went to class and left immediately.

Dating experience... Again, I didn’t have time to date because of my schedule and I never really met anyone as I would leave immediately. I never hung out long enough to meet anyone either.

What did you hate about campus? Parking. There never was enough and the struggle to find parking made you late for class sometimes.

If you could go back and do it differently what would you change? Nothing.

Are you still friends with your college friends? Yes I am in touch with a few of them.
