How to get KCPE 2019 results

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) on Monday, November 18, 2019, released the 2019 KCSE results.

Releasing the results, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha announced an overall improvement in the examination as compared to 2018.

The top student Michael Munyiri scored 440 marks.

According to the Kenya National Examinations Council, to get the results, SMS the ‘index number’ followed by 'KCPE' in capital letters to 20076.

The examinations were done in October 2019 and marking of the scripts was concluded on Friday, November 15, 2019.

The Cabinet Secretary expressed his happiness towards the level of discipline and honesty that was practiced during this year’s examination period.

He added that by December 2, 2019, every child will have known which secondary school to join.

The total number of candidates who sat for the exams was 1,088,986.
