Kenyans react after woman gets 30-year sentence for trafficking bhang worth Sh2800

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) were enraged after a Nyeri court sentenced a woman to 30 years in prison for trafficking bhang worth Sh2820.

Rose Wanjiru is said to have committed the offence in 2014 and was positively identified by key witnesses.

According to the magistrate, the prosecution had proved the case beyond reasonable doubt and the accused was not given an option of fine.
