Spare no effort in addressing sporadic cases of cholera

Barely one month after cholera was reported in 8 counties, there is another outbreak in Kitale. So far, some of the counties affected are Garissa, Turkana, West Pokot, Isiolo, Kiambu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Kajiado, Nairobi, Machakos, Tana River and Kilifi.

More than 30 leaners at the Chetoto Primary School in Kitale have been admitted to hospital with cholera related symptoms. The danger is that with medical services within counties not up to scratch, the possibility of the disease spreading further cannot be discounted.
