SUMMARY
  • Professor Ole Kiyiapi says Miguna is the perfect leader Kenya needs at the moment
  • The former presidential candidate says Miguna is fearless and does not play to the tunes of political divides
  • Kenyans have their views regarding the same

Former Education Principal Secretary Professor James Ole Kiyiapi has stated that National Resistance Movement Kenya (NRMKe) self- pronounced General Miguna Miguna is the leader that Kenya deserves.

The 2013 Restore and Build Kenya Party presidential candidate made this remarks following the change in tactics by National Super Alliance (NASA) the opposition party after leader Raila Odinga agreed to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Tweeting his opinion on Friday, March 16, Prof Kiyiapi said that Miguna is best suited for the job since he does not say whatever the political class wants to hear.

“Miguna Miguna is not the kind of guy who will say what the political class wants to hear - doesn't matter which side of the divide. He will say it as it is. Give it to him, he is an HONEST fellow, and the NEW broom of leadership Kenya badly needs,” the Professor tweeted.

Miguna Miguna took part in the swearing-in of Raila

Miguna Miguna, the lawyer in question was deported to Toronto Canada in early February following his participation in swearing-in Raila as the People’s President on January 30. He is expected back in the country after the High Court and Court of Appeal ordered his return.

Professor Kiyiapi’s did not go unnoticed as his Twitter followers responded;

If we had over half of our politicians like #migunamiguna who are bold enough to speak their minds without fear that is telling Kenyans the truth the leadership of this country could learn to be honest and speak the truth then Kenya by now could credible by all means— Samuel N Orutwa (@orutwasam) March 16, 2018

@MigunaMiguna is very intolerant, you slightly disagree with him he blocks you. He can't be a leader, to him he is the only one RIGHT and anybody else is WRONG.— La Revolt (@PhilRevolt) March 16, 2018

A little bit too abrasive but... yes!His forthright focused courage is a relief— JohnG (@john_giks) March 16, 2018

You really need to qualify that statement, sir. As much as MM knows the 'what' is needed, his greatest undoing is the 'how' he proposes to achieve those ends..— John Ogola (@jjogola) March 16, 2018

Honest, but abrasive and not a team player.— Nick M. (@NickMaina) March 16, 2018

Trouble is he is a lone ranger. He cannot work with other people so how would he execute his vision?— Gathoni (@I_am_Gathoni) March 16, 2018

@MigunaMiguna is a man with rare qualities, yes he is not perfect but can move this country strides ahead.— Lord evanso (@Lordevanso) March 17, 2018

That's true Miguna Miguna is ever honest— ledama_Moses (@ledamamoses9) March 17, 2018
