Romelu Lukaku becomes laughing stock – trolled heavily on social media after poor derby display

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku once again failed to impress in a ‘big’ Premier League clash as Manchester City edged out Jose Mourinho’s side 2-1 at Old Trafford.

In a derby that was heated from the word go, David Silva gave the Citizens the lead after Man United failed to clear a corner. Marcus Rashford equalised on the stroke of half time with a perfectly finished strike.

In form defender Nicolas Otamendi restored City’s lead in the second half, volleying the ball past David De Gea.

Romelu Lukaku had the chance to restore parity in the late stages of the game but failed to do so, missing a number of clear cut chances.

Lukaku just unlocked a new position. Attacking defensive striker... ????????

Fun fact:
Did you know that Romelu Lukaku spelled backwards is ukakul ulemor?

Which makes no sense, just like the £75M Manchester United spent on him.— The Druggy Builder (@DruggyBuilder) December 10, 2017
