Man killed by neighbour after trying to kill his own twin infants

An Oklahoma man aged 27 was shot twice in the back when he tried to kill his twin three-months-old children under water in a bathtub while threatening their mother with a knife.

Leland Foster died out of gunshot wounds from his neighbor who had been alerted of the intent by a 12-year-old girl before saving the lives of the kids and their mother, though by shooting to kill, City of Ada spokeswoman Lisa Bratcher told journalists.

The neighbor, identified as Cash Freeman is however worried despite being released by police because the district attorney will have to be decision maker on whether Freeman has to face murder charges or not.

The deceased has earlier in 2011 faces strangulation and domestic violence charges.

The children are said to be in a stable condition after being hospitalised but Freeman feels he did not the right thing even after making the crucial intervention.

He feels he could be trouble with the authorities as they are likely to subject him to the law as opposed what humanity would nearly approve of.

He had come home armed with a handgun when the young girl hinted at him of the neighbour’s motive before making the courageous move.

It is not known why Foster had decided to take the lives of the babies.
