‘Mpango wa Kando’ gets his body part chopped off by lover’s husband

Julius Chaka, a 40-year-old man was the victim of a machete attack by Nyambira Makazi, for reasons of sleeping with the assailant’s wife.

The attacker, who pleaded not guilty to all charges in front of a Zimbabwe court, after it was claimed that he attacked Mr. Julius Chaka as he was leaving Nyamande business centre around midnight.

Makazi, who was fully armed with a machete, came at Chaka accusing him of sleeping with his wife, aggressively chopping off his hand as the altercation reached its climax. After this incident, the assailant fled as Chaka, who was bleeding profusely managed to get help and was rushed home, before eventually being taken to Njanjena Clinic for treatment.

The attacker was later remanded up to the 4^th of May, when the trial is set to continue.
