Why Valentines day and buying someone flowers is so lame!

Why do I find buying anyone flowers, so lame? Same with repeated "I love you baby" twenty times a day! To me it stinks of insecurity. Surely isn't everything I do, including buying you nice stuff on any day other valentine enough to convince you I care? ehe? Isnt that enough?

This entire charade makes me feel like am a 21 year old fraud. Valentine is a marketing gimmick to get people to spend money, money that they do not have. Be sensible. Allow me, as a decent family man to work unpestered to provide for our kids! and while am at it, talk to me more often.
