Ford-kenya won a slot on the powerful constitution implementation oversight committee as the PNU coalition moved to contain dissent over its first list of nominees. The party picked six of its members and seven from affiliate parties to make up a thirteen-member team on the committee… The PNU coalition members held crisis talks a day after some of the party’s backbenchers and two ODM MPS scuttled attempts to endorse the first list tabled by Vice President and leader of government business Kalonzo Musyoka on the grounds that they were not consulted.
