Sotik Member of Parliament Joyce Laboso has launched a mentorship programme for secondary school students in the area.

Last Sarturday, Laboso who is also National Assembly Deputy Speaker, hosted several motivational speakers at Kaplong Boys Secondary School during a mentorship session for students from the constituency.

Laboso said the programme is aimed at ensuring that the students post better grades in the Kenya Certficate of Secondary Education exam.

“Most students think that they can’t excel in their studies simply because they come from district and rural day schools,” said Laboso.
