Matt Hardy announces retirement as WWE legend admits after 26 years in the ring

WWE legend Matt Hardy appears to have confirmed his retirement [Courtesy]

The 43-year-old first joined the organisation as a teenager and after earning a contract in 1998, formed one of the greatest tag-teams of all time with real-life brother Jeff.

He was released from his contract in 2010 but returned last year and has since teamed up with Bray Wyatt to form The Deleters of Worlds.
