Posta in class of their own during this year’s KECOSO games

Posta Corporation of Kenya (PCK) were in a league of their own as they won in different categories during the ongoing Kenya Communications Sports Organization (KECOSO) games.

PCK first taught Kenya Airports Authority some Netball lessons after they walloped them (KAA) 74-13, in a one-sided encounter.

 Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) in another netball berth dismissed Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development (MTIHUD) 30-18.

The best player in this game was Pamela Akinyi of KCAA with 45 points as the highest scorer position went to Noel Khavesta (GS) KCAA with 25 goals. 

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in another netball meeting saw off KAA 60-14 as Nancy Opiyo of KPA emerged the best player with 43 points, with the highest Scorer position going to Sarah Oduor (GA) of KPA with 31 goals.

In basketball men, again PCK took over from where their Netball side left to whip KAA 90-47, they first lost 13-24 in the first quarter before they recovered to dismiss KAA via 29-06, 26-06 and 22-11 in the subsequent quarters.

Posta again narrowly defeated KPA 68-61 in another tough Basketball encounter before KPA (Female) dismissed Posta 57-42 to salvage a win for the KPA side.

 Communication Authority (CA) saw off Ministry of Information Communication Technology (MOICT) 19-10 in Darts before Kenya Forest Service suffered a 19-3 results in the hands of MTIHUD.

Posta were again the winners in the Volleyball Category as they beat Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA), walloping the Aviation team 3-1 in sets of 25-20, 25-15, 24-26 and 25-17.

In another Volleyball category Kenya Ports Authority dismissed KAA 3-0 in sets of 25-11, 25-8 and 25-16. Most Valuable player was J. Mwaniki (KPA), Best Libero S. Juma (KPA), Best Setter John Opendi (KAA) and Best attacker Robert Ngira (KAA).

Posta were again the winners in the Football category as they narrowly defeated CA 1-0 through a solitary goal that was scored by Titus Achesa of Posta at 71st minute in a match that was staged at Bukhungu Stadium.

 Kakamega Homeboyz saw off KAA 5-1 in another match as Onyango Dan 8th minute, Anthony Kamei 34th minute, Timothy Omondi 37th minute, Shadrack Omondi 66th minute and Emmanuel Amwai 87th minute scored for Homeboyz before Samuel Onyango in his own net in the 30th
