Gunners star reveals he will leave Arsenal

Laurent Koscielny intends to leave Arsenal at end of contract

Laurent Koscielny has confirmed he will leave Arsenal at the end of his contract.

The Frenchman has spent the last eight years at the Emirates and his current deal expires in 2020.

Koscielny is currently sidelined with an Achilles problem and is unlikely to return to action under new boss Unai Emery before the end of the year.

And the 32-year-old has admitted this deal is set to be his last in north London - although he unsure of his next move.

"I'm under contract until June 2020. Afterwards? I'm thinking of moving on, but I do not know where," he told Nice-Matin.

"This is not relevant anyway! I am in England, my family too. Then there will inevitably be a lot of question marks.

"The bottom line is to have health. I learned to revitalise because there are so many more serious things in life."

Arsenal have signed Sokratis Papastathopoulos this summer with the Greek defender partnering Shkodran Mustafi during pre-season.

The Gunners bring their pre-season plans to an end against Lazio this weekend before their opener with Manchester City.
