A woman has claimed her husband is trying to divorce her because she has no vagina - after he accused her of sleeping with her adoptive mother.
Alejandro and Tania were appearing on Caso Cerrado, Spain's version of Judge Rinder, and fought over their reasons for divorce.
Alejandro explained to the TV show host, Ana Maria Polo, that his wife had refused to have sex with him until they were married and avoided consummating their marriage on the wedding night.
He claims he later walked in on her adoptive mother 'penetrating her with a dildo', saying he wanted to "sue this shameless tramp".
She still says he's the 'love of her life'
What are you currently worrying about?Fighting back tears, Tania defended herself and explained the heartbreaking condition she was diagnosed with at the age of 14.
She said: "He's the love of my life and he knows it. "What I don't understand is why he's forgetting to mention the root of the problem.
"I'm not a regular woman. I've never had a vagina.
"I was born with a syndrome called Rokitansky - it's a congenital condition which means the vagina can be very small or completely absent.
"In my case, it's completely absent. “I have suffered greatly because of this."
When asked to clarify the situation by the show host, she explained she has ovaries but no uterus or vaginal canal.
He had accused her of 'cheating' with her mother
After becoming engaged, Tania had surgery to create a vaginal cavity so she could sleep with her husband - but it was too painful for her to consummate the marriage on the wedding night, causing her to cry and "freak out".
Tania says she felt she had failed at her wifely duties, being unable to satisfy her husband, and claims she then asked her adoptive mother to help her widen the vaginal cavity with the help of a cylindrical instrument.
A doctor told the show that women with the syndrome who have had surgery to create a vagina have to "continually dilate themselves" and have ongoing treatment and therapy.
At the end of their story, after having heard both cases, Ana Maria Polo granted the divorce.
