SportPesa Mega Jackpot winner Samuel Abisai is undoubtedly the luckiest person at the moment after he bagged Sh221 million.

However, he wasn’t destined for greatness right from birth. Abisa was born and raised in Kakamega and suffered through a rough childhood.

Abisai who attended Mwiyala Primary school where he learnt in a harsh environment revealed his father sold ropes and braved rain and scorching sun to fend for him and his siblings.

Even in impoverished upbringing, Abisa developed a betting habit and eventually found his way out of poverty when he won Sh221million.

He jetted out of the country on Friday to an unknown destination for vacation a week after he received a grand fete in his home town Kakamega.

Two days after leaving the country, Abisa resurfaced again on Facebook and wasn't shy about letting the world know he is enjoying what his parents were unable to afford when he was growing up.

The Sh221 million jackpot winner uploaded photos of himself on his Facebook jet skiing in the ocean in undisclosed location.

In the photos, Abisai is spotted hitting the waves on a Jet Ski as he takes time out away from heavy media coverage of his newfound riches.

According to the SportPesa, Abisai pocketed the entire Sh221 million as the proposed 50 per cent tax on gaming companies does not apply to winnings and even so, it is yet to be implemented.
