AS Roma superstar Edin Dzeko received a red card on Sunday evening for pulling Kyriakos Papadopoulos shorts down in a heated World cup qualifier match between Bosnia and Greece.

Dzeko now at AS Roma initially went down under a challenge from RB Leipzig’s Papadopoulos just outside the Greece penalty area.

Frustrated with Papadopoulos’s attempts to rip the ball from his grasp, the Bosnia captain, then pulled the Greek defender’s shorts down, sparking a scuffle involving players from both sides spilling over to the technical staff who ran onto the pitch.

Dzeko, who had already been booked earlier in the match, was shown a second yellow card by referee Jonas Eriksson for his troubles, while Papadopoulos was given a straight red for his part in the incident.
