Nadia Mukami announces break up with Arrow Bwoy

Singer Nadia Mukami and her long-term boyfriend, Ali Yusuf alias Arrow Bwoy have broken up.

Announcing the news on her Insta story, the Kai Wangu crooner said they ended their relationship a while back but chose to keep it under wraps.

However, owing to nagging and requests by interested parties to book them for work together, Nadia explained that she could not continue lying about why that was impossible.

"Just to clarify to the guys to book Arrow Bwoy and I. I have run out of lies. We have been not been together for a while, we broke up," she wrote.

The mother of one directed anyone looking to book her and Arrow Bwoy to do so through their management.

"Kindly contact individual management for bookings," she added.

News of their break up has caught many by surprise, considering their undeniable online chemistry and, not too long ago, welcomed their first child together.

Nadia and Arrow Bwoy's romance began a few years back, with fans suspecting they were an item due to their interactions.

Opening up on how they got acquainted, Arrow Bwoy recalls being phoned by Nadia to feature on one of her songs and, even though he was unwell, agreed to participate anyway.

"She called me to feature on the song. I was sick and my voice was not exactly at its best, but I had to do it for her. Her verse was ready and I laid down mine. The chemistry was crystal clear," he said.

Rumours started doing rounds that they were not only music counterparts but lovers, a claim Nadia strongly refuted.

"I am single and working on my business, Arrow Bwoy and I never dated. What happened was that a blogger wrote the story and we just decided to run with it, we used it to push our music. The next relationship has to lead to marriage I have been telling my friends I wanna settle down wananishangaa! I don't like games in relationships, I have never dated for fun!" Nadia said,

Nadia's wish, however, came true in August 2021 when they officially announced they were an item with romantic pictures of them kissing on a beach.

The bubbly superstar captioned the picture, "My hardworking, patient, pure hearted handsome man! Baba Safari."

Their relationship was unfortunately rocked with misfortune as the duo got pregnant and sadly lost their baby.

"The answer is simple for as long as that Celebrity likes!! Nani mwingine akona Swali ???!!! I lost a child and grieved in private last year I didn't make it anyone's business!! Anyone in question of my pregnancy, Leave me the Fuck alone!!!!!," said Nadia Mukami in a previous tweet.

Luckily they were blessed again and welcomed their first child, baby Haseeb Kai.

"24.03.2022 We received the most Beautiful Gift Ever @haseebkai welcome to our world @nadia_mukami thank you @rfh_healthcare my Queen and the Prince are in the safe hands," he shared Arrow Bwoy.
