Referendum Postponement Debate

Following the grenade attack at Uhuru Park, in which six people were killed, there have been suggestions that perhaps, the referendum on the proposed constitution should be postponed. But the strict provisions of the act that governs constitutional review stand in the way of those pushing for postponement. to postpone the vote requires an amendment to the review law that cannot be completed before august 4^th, the day Kenyans are set to vote on the proposed constitution.
