Kabras Sugar eye eighth consecutive win against Mwamba

Kabras Sugar are confident of maintain their unbeaten run in the Kenya Cup when they travel to play Mwamba at the Rugby Football Union of East Africa (RFUEA) grounds in Nairobi today.

The sugar millers are still unbeaten having won all their seven matches as the league heads into its business end and captain Dan Sikuta is confident they will close out the season unbeaten.

Sikuta said the team’s confidence is very high after their 32-23 statement win over defending champions KCB last weekend.

“We have a very good squad with a mixture of youth and experience which have been producing results in the last seven matches and we expect nothing less than a win in today’s match.”

“The confidence is of cause high after the massive win over a very good KCB side and we can’t wait to hit the pitch running,” said the Kenya Sevens star.

In the meantime, Mwamba head Coach Kevin Wambua has made five changes to his starting squad that will face Kabras.

Kenya Simbas ace Charles Kuka and Kenya 7s fly-half Tony Omondi have been handed starts after been overlooked in the team that lost to Quins last weekend.

Others are Sylvester Miheso, Apollo Owino and Humphrey Warui gets a nod to start.
