Miss World Kenya 2009

Miss World Kenya beauty pageant has concluded its countrywide search and the worthy contestants will soon be coming to a screen near you. Eleven contestants were picked from Nairobi this past weekend to join the 22 other finalists from across Kenya. The final 33 constestants will be staying at a Purpose Training House donated by Utalii Hotel for three weeks.

They will be trained in all aspects of etiquette and confidence. Elimination will be conducted each week leaving 16 competitors for the Miss Kenya finals at KICC on October 3. Other prizes include a car courtesy of Ashley’s Kenya.The winner will represent Kenya in the Miss World preliminaries in the UK before proceeding to Johannesburg for the finals on December 12. The entire competition will air on Citizen TV on Sundays at 5.30pm starting this Sunday, and voting lines will also be open giving the public a say on the final winner. The event is organised by Ashleys Kenya, Stomp and Balozi productions.
