The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has formed a team to listen to disgruntled party members.
The decision comes after its recent controversial grassroots primaries.
Although ODM Executive Director Oduor Ong'wen touted the exercise as a "great success", the party's move may be aimed at preventing a possible fallout of members due to the chaos witnessed during the nationwide exercise.
In a statement, Mr Ong'wen admitted there was some dissatisfaction among members, prompting the party to form a national appeals board to receive and listen to members' complaints.
"In order to address their grievances and concerns, ODM has put in place a national appeals board to receive and listen to complaints that may be raised by dissatisfied party members," he said.
The last few months have cast a dark shadow on ODM's ability to conduct peaceful and credible polls after the party witnessed chaotic scenes.
