One police officer killed, six others injured after landmine explosion in Mandera

One police officer was killed and six others injured on Wednesday, June 7, after a vehicle they were travelling in hit a landmine in Qurqura village within Mandera South.

According to the reports filed at Elwak police station, the officers were in an armoured 110 Land Rover on their way to Elwak for refuelling before they hit an IED on the left side of the road.
