I will fight for teachers till death, says KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion

The giant Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) is on its knees. Membership has shrunk from 187,000 to 23,000. Secretary General, Wilson Sossion  tells The Nairobian why Teachers Service  Commission (TSC) is killing it softly

Knut now earns only Sh15 million, yet it has 600 employees with a Sh80 million monthly salary portfolio. What are your employees and their families eating?
They are not earning salaries, they have lost their medical cover and some have died. Some have been kicked out of their houses. I am getting videos and pictures of Knut employees being auctioned by landlords and people they owe money. The branches have had their properties auctioned and all this is happening because Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has defied a labour relations court order.
