Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja on Thursday, July 13, moved seven county ministers in a reshuffle that happened just six months after their appointment.

Sakaja’s youngest CEC, Susan Silantoi, who served in the Department of Inclusivity, Public Participation, and Customer Service will switch places with Anastasia Nyalita who headed Health, Wellness, and Nutrition department.

Maureen Njeri took over the division of Business and Hustler Opportunity leaving Green Nairobi under Ibrahim Auma.

Auma handed over the Department of Boroughs, Administration, and Personnel to Patrick Mbogo who initially was in charge of Mobility and Works.

Mbogo’s department was assigned to Brian Mulama who served in the Department of Talents, Skills, and Care which will now be run by Rosemary Kariuki who served as the County’s CEC for Business and Hustler Opportunity.

The other remaining sectors spared include Finance and Economic Affairs which is managed by Charles Kerich, Innovation and Digital Economy led by Michael Magero, and the Department of Built Environment and Urban Planning under Stephen Mwangi.

Sakaja also introduced two new members of the County Executive Committee serving as the county’s economic and creative advisors.

The two; Stephen Gachie and Benerd Kioko will step in as Economic Affairs Advisor and Creative Economy Advisor respectively and help improve the County’s revenue by boosting the industries they are to represent.

These changes will be effective immediately.
