Mohammed Ali- Jicho pevu hints as to why he left his journalism career to join politics


 A celebrated KTN TV investigative reporter Mohammed Ali- Jicho pevu has hinted why he left his journalism career to join politics. Most people thought it was too earlier for him to exit the field when he was still needed.

Speaking to a mammoth crowd at Masinde Muliro at the coast Mohammed Ali said that he saw it good to join politics because it was time for the young people to claim their place in the leadership of the country.

“Young people must claim their place in the leadership of this country,” said Ali

According to him having fought for the rights of Kenyans as a journalist, it was time for him to become a leader so that he can effect the change he has been advocating for.

He further said that he wanted to bring a revolution in this country so that the coming generations will enjoy the fruits of a transformed nation.

“Revolutionaries don't ask what is in it for me. They do it for their children and for posterity. Kenya is ripe,” said Mohammed Ali.

He also said he has always had the interest of Kenya and that is why he was fighting fearlessly to ensure that the common mwananchi is not taken advantage off.

“All I'm dreaming for is the freedom of the Nation where everyone will be equal in the eyes of the LORD,” said Mohammed.

Muhammed added that as a politician he want to help fix this country.

“We are heading to the polls to choose between a failed government and an incoming one. 2017 we want to fix this country. Not save it,” added Muhammed.

 A number of people have welcomed his move saying that it was now time for the fearless journalist to bring transformation to this country as a leader.

“If I were a voter in Nyali constituency; I'd vote @MohaJichoPevu so that he'd go to parliament, investigate & uncover the rot there,” said sir Collins.

“I'm so impressed and so believe you are the kind of a leader we need. Represent and save us,” said Roselyn.

Muhammed Ali is seeking to be elected as Nyali MP on an ODM ticket.
