Feedback: Kenya washes its dirty linen at ICC conference in Kampala

We can’t let the likes of Sudan President Omar al-Bashir go free. Miguna Miguna has a point.

{Billy Kuogo, Swaziland}

I have been wondering why PM Raila Odinga makes blunders but I now know that his advisor has ‘little knowledge’.

{Chris Wekesa, Kenya}

AG Amos Wako has a substantive position in Government. But who is this Miguna who purports to represent the Government and ODM? If he is not a Government official, then he had no say in the matter.

{Laban Mayina, US}

Afro-Asian masses would want the ICC to target not only their ‘suspects’ but also such candidates like Bush and Blair for their lies, illegal invasion of nations and massacre of thousands of innocent civilians. ICC should stop being selective in bringing ‘justice’.

{F Dar, UK}

I found Miguna to be impulsive. African ministers had met the day before and agreed to write to the AU requesting for support to open an ICC Liaison Office. They were meeting to consider the draft letter when Miguna took the floor to object, leading to his being shouted down.

{Mambo, South Africa}

The divisions in Government should not be extended outside the country. Why would Miguna take the role of ODM spokesman and yet he is not?

{Wilfred Mido, Kenya}

Times have changed and we now need people who are sober headed and who act with decorum. We can do better with less theatrics at a world forum. Raila should get a replacement.

{Telek Ongaro, Kenya}

Was Miguna a Government delegate or an ODM delegate? I think these are the busybodies we have to be careful about.

{Kaamu, Kenya}

I never thought anybody would make Wako look gentlemanly, but Miguna proved me wrong.

{Joe, US}

AG Amos Wako is now a liability to Kenya and for the sake of his integrity, he better go home.
