There was drama today in Parliament after singer Akothee showed up in what looked like a mini skirt prompting Parliament security to block her from accessing the premises.

In a video that has since gone viral, the songstress is seen trying to argue with Parliament security before she is escorted to a separate room where, according to our sources who sought anonymity, she was asked to cover herself with a lesso.

The artiste, who was being hosted by nominated MP David Ole Sankok, was later allowed to access Parliament building amid protests from a section of female legislators who were against security personnel’s decision to block the singer.
