The Last Interview: Sagini looked frail, sick; he had to pause in between performance #RIP

18th December, 2018

The Kenyan entertainment industry is mourning following the sudden demise of R&B musician Eliud Sagini, better known to his fans as Sagini.

According to a post published by Khaligraph Jones, Sagini died on Monday evening after a short illness.

“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing away of one of Kenya’s greatest and promising talent Eliud Sagini better known to many as Sagini,” Khaligraph said.

"Sagini left us this evening of Monday the 17th of December 2018 after suffering a short illness. He was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital. Your prayers and support will be highly appreciated in this moment of grief,” he continued.

The vocalist was signed under Khaligraph Jones’ Record Label, BluInk Corp and in April 2018, he released his first single called Ki2 Ingine.

Sagini’s death has come as a shocker to many, who watched him being interviewed on KTN’s Strai8Up Live last Saturday.
