The Big Story: Leaders differ on referendum fate

A section of ODM leaders from Nairobi county have called out critics pushing for the retirement of opposition leader Raila Odinga from active politics, following his recent appointment as African Union special envoy for infrastructure development. Led by Mathare legislator, Anthony Oluoch, the leaders say to the contrary, Odinga's appointment elevates him to the level of a statesman, best placed to contest the presidency in 2022.
