Robert Kathata is a successful traditional healer plying his trade in Meru County.

Kathata is also famed for his 19 wives and 34 children. He says the sie of his family is teatament to being wealthy.

“To prove that you are wealthy, you must have many wives and children to match the status," 

Asked how he manages all his women, he said, “I gave each Ksh200,000 as capital to start a business. Most of my wives run salons, bars, eateries, hardware shops and other businesses,” he said.

He added that he hold meetings with all of them to find out if they have any issues that are bothering them. Each wife has a separate compound.
