A multi-agency team failed to appear before the parliamentary joint committee investigating the ongoing sugar scandal.  Yesterday, the team had requested parliament to allow it appear before the joint committee Friday, a day after the government chemist failed to honour a second invite from the committee. And in a fresh twist, interior cabinet secretary Dr Fred Matiang’I insists he must appear together with the multi-agency team.  Our senior parliamentary affairs reporter Patrick Amimo has more.
