Family Planning in Isiolo: Why education and embracing digital solutions is making a difference?

Contraceptive uptake in Kenya has seen a boom in the recent past as women become more aware and an increase in urbanization necessitating the need for using birth control.

Kenya’s commitment to increase contraceptive uptake among married women from the current 58% to 64% by the year 2030 will however need more effort to bridge the disparity between rural and urban dwellers.

Among the pastoral communities, culture is the biggest hurdle to overcome.
