Kenya electricity generating company, KenGen has increased the output from hydro power plants, taking advantage of the ongoing rains. With the increased Output Kengen expects steady power supply. The state power generator has an installed capacity of 820 megawatts under hydro which is mainly used to stabilize the National grid during peak hours.
