MP's seek to enhance their salaries and allowances |House of Cards

Members of the national assembly will February next year seek to enhance their salaries and allowances based on the ruling of a pending high court case where the Parliamentary Service Commission is seeking to reverse a gazette notice by the salaries and remuneration commission that slashed MPs’ perks.  

On house of cards tonight, KTN senior political affairs reporter Patrick Amimo interrogates lawmakers’ eagerness to amend the parliamentary service bill, 2018 to provide for the establishment of a tribunal to be making recommendations on members’ welfare as opposed to the salaries and remuneration commission.
