Inside The Tanzania Massacre: Election violence sparks outrage and international concern

President Samia Suluhu Hassan is facing growing criticism after appearing to downplay the loss of lives following Tanzania’s disputed general election. During her swearing-in ceremony in Dodoma, Suluhu dismissed reports of widespread violence, blaming the unrest on “foreign interference.” However, videos and eyewitness accounts emerging online paint a different picture, raising fresh questions about the scale of brutality witnessed across the country.
