Mama Ida Odinga's moving tribute to her late husband Raila Odinga

Mama Ida Odinga moved mourners to tears as she delivered a heartfelt tribute to her late husband, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, during his burial service at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University in Bondo on Saturday.

In an emotional eulogy, Mama Ida described Raila as a devoted husband, loving father, and a steadfast patriot whose life was defined by sacrifice, courage, and an unyielding fight for justice and democracy.

She recalled their decades-long journey together from the dark days of political detentions to moments of triumph and hope — saying Raila’s resilience and belief in a better Kenya never wavered.
