The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) National Executive Council (NEC) has resolved to remove Edwin Sifuna as the party’s Secretary General with immediate effect, citing indiscipline.

In an interim arrangement, Busia Woman Representative Catherine Omanyo has been appointed Acting Secretary General pending the election of a substantive office holder.

The decision marks a significant shift in the party’s leadership structure as it moves to address internal disciplinary concerns.
